Deepen Self-Awareness:
Explore your own internal family system to move beyond intellectual understanding into a somatic, embodied experience of IFS.

​​Develop Key IFS Skills: Practice guiding others in identifying and connecting with their parts while fostering Self-to-part relationships.

Course Details for 2026

Dates: Friday, October 23  to Sunday, October 25, 2026
Location: Ghost Ranch, NM

  • Format: In-person, with private and semi-private rooms on the incredible ground of the Ghost Ranch, New Mexico.  For directions to Ghost Ranch click here.
  • Layout: The course runs Friday, October 23rd from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm,  Saturday, October 24th from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, and Sunday, October 25th from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm 
  • ​Cost: $1775 for the 3-day course, and 2-night stay at Ghost Ranch. Includes 2 nights in a private room with a​ bathroom, meals, and snacks. Members of The Collective receive a 10% discount. Check out The Collective by clicking here and join today.
  • ​​​​Extra Guest: You can bring a guest for an extra $165.00 which includes room, board, and meals for the duration of the stay.
  • Credits: 18 CE from NBCC are available. FS workbook and other materials are provided to help guide you.

  • Payment plans are available.

Our goal is that by the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Cite the main therapeutic goal of IFS therapy 
  • ​Describe the basic assumptions of IFS in regard to the non-pathological multiplicity of the mind and concept of "Self"
  • ​Explain the concept of unblending, differentiating sub-personalities from the "Self" as a to speak for our parts as opposed to from, reactive affective states or "parts" 
  • ​Name 3 categories of sub-personalities that are present in therapy 
  • ​Cite the IFS concept of Self and experience it's role in our inner system to become Self-led
  • ​Identify and describe the qualities of Self 8 Cs & 5 Ps (curiosity, compassion, confidence, courage, clarity, creativity, connectedness, calmness, patience, playfulness, perspective, persistence, presence)
  • ​Use techniques to provide a direct experience of Self and parts in the system.
  • ​Explain how changes in the internal system will affect changes in the external system of an individual, family, or group.

*Please Note: This training will lead you to be IFS-informed and offer it to your clients. This course is not a lvl 1 through IFSI. However both facilitators are trained through IFSI, one is a certified IFS therapist & IFS-Approved Clinical Consultant and the other a certified IFS practitioner. 

This course is independently offered by Inner World Collective and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the IFS Institute.

Can I earn CE's for the course if I'm not a NM clinician?
Yes! Luna Counseling LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7756. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Luna Counseling LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Can I say I am IFS informed after taking this course?
Yes, you will be IFS-informed after completion of this course.

Is there a payment plan?

Can I book extra nights at Ghost Ranch?
If you are wanting to come to Ghost Ranch before or after the retreat that’s great, it’s a wonderful place to explore! Beyond the two nights of the retreat you will need to contact the Ghost Ranch front desk at 505.685.4333 to make additional arrangements and meals outside of the retreat.

*Please check with us around the name of the room we have booked you in BEFORE calling the Ghost Ranch Front Desk to book extra nights. Ghost Ranch guarantees the room type (private room or suite) but not a specific room, so while you will receive the same level of accommodation, the exact room may vary.

Can I bring a non-workshop participant to Ghost Ranch, (friend, partner, family)?
If you want to bring a partner, friend, spouse etc. many of the rooms can accommodate that and there is no extra charge. However, there is an extra charge for meals at a flat rate of $165.00 that we will add to your cost of $1650 if a person accompanies you wants additional meals onsite. Please let us know if you will be doing this as we need to let Ghost Ranch know how many will be attending meals and add this additional cost.

Getting to Ghost Ranch:
If you are coming to Ghost Ranch from out of state, you can fly in to either the Albuquerque Airport or the Santa Fe Airport. Albuquerque airport will likely be more economical. We recommend that you rent a car in either Albuquerque or Santa Fe, as that will be the easiest way for you to get to Ghost Ranch. Both the Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports have rental car access. Ghost Ranch is an hour and a half by car from Santa Fe, NM and two hours and a half from the Albuquerque, NM Sunport Airport.

Ghost Ranch is located on Highway 84. The address is: 280 Private Drive 1708, Abiquiu, NM, 87510-2001. This address or “Ghost Ranch, NM” can be put into Google Maps. 

Cancelation policy 
Cancellations can be made up to 60 days in advance and will be refunded, minus $400 deposit. Any cancellations less than 60 days before start of the program will forfeit full amount.
