This course is designed for mental health therapists and helping professionals eager to explore the transformative potential of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapeutic model.
Whether you're new to IFS or looking to deepen your practice, this course offers a rich opportunity to enhance your professional toolkit while cultivating your own personal growth. Through a blend of engaging teachings and hands-on experiential practices, participants will:
Build a Strong Conceptual Framework: Understand the core principles of IFS and how they apply to your work with clients.
Deepen Self-Awareness: Explore your own internal family system to move beyond intellectual understanding into a somatic, embodied experience of IFS.
Develop Key IFS Skills: Practice guiding others in identifying and connecting with their parts while fostering Self-to-part relationships.

I wanted to learn more about IFS because as a therapist, I noticed I was already speaking in "parts language", like "part of me wants to scream and the other part wants to cry". I chose Inner World Collective because Trevor and Lorri are so knowledgeable and their Into to IFS was experiential and affordable. The Intro to IFS course gave me access to experience their Inner World Collective which is amazing and packed with resources. I am hooked on IFS now and look forward to working with Trevor and Lorri more as I hone my skills and explore my own personal IFS journey.
- Sophie, LPC RPT-S Trauma therapist specializing in Synergetic Play Therapy and EMDR
The Intro to IFS 12-week IFS training was so thoughtfully put together. The pace felt just right—steady and spacious enough to really absorb the material. You could tell that the lesson plans took a lot of care and effort to design; each week built naturally on the last. The trainers created an atmosphere of genuine care and support, which made learning feel safe and engaging. The information was presented in such a clear and relatable way that even the more complex ideas felt accessible. Overall, it was a deeply meaningful and well-paced learning experience which in turn, allowed me to begin integrating IFS in my private practice. I had done numerous online IFS trainings and read "Internal Family Systems" and "No Bad Parts", before I took this Intro to IFS with Lorri and Trevor and this training helped put it all together for me, which provided a greater sense of confidence in my role as a therapist.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a powerful, evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps us understand and work with the many "parts" or sub-personalities that exist within our minds. These parts often emerge as protective mechanisms, shaped by life experiences, to help us survive and adapt.
However, these parts can sometimes find themselves in conflict—with each other and with our core Self. In IFS, the Self represents the confident, compassionate, and whole essence at the center of every individual.
The IFS model focuses on healing wounded parts and fostering harmony within the internal system by shifting the dynamics that create discord. It invites curiosity and care, offering space for internal differentiation, integration, and ultimately, wholeness. In IFS, all parts are welcome.
