Get supported, witnessed, and worked with — not as “the professional,” but as a person with parts who also needs care.
This retreat is built for anyone in the healing and/or helping profession to gain support with their own internal parts. Each participant will set an intention on the first day of this retreat and have the opportunity to use IFS sculpting techniques (a way to externalize internal parts), IFS-focused meditations, dyad exploration, time in nature and other IFS-focused processes to explore this intention.
This experience is a time to tend to all of YOU. A place to lean into your internal spaces that are needing and/or asking for attention
Connect with your wise inner source of healing
A place to explore your parts through IFS in a group setting with sculpting (We are wounded in groups and groups is also where we heal!)
An opportunity for every group member to do a sculpt with their own parts and support others with their sculpt (All sculpt sessions facilitated by Lorri or Trevor)
BE in a healing environment at Ghost Ranch with walks/hikes, a labyrinth...majestic nature all around!

A 4-hour IFS Introduction designed for therapists, coaches, and groups—learn the core concepts of parts and Self and develop a shared understanding of the IFS model.
This 4-hour introductory training is designed for therapists, coaches, and helping professionals who want a clear, experiential foundation in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. You’ll explore the core concepts of parts, Self, and system dynamics, gaining an understanding of the different types of parts—managers, firefighters, and exiles—and how they function within an internal system. Through live demonstrations and guided experiential practice, you’ll begin developing the skills to recognize Self-energy, relate to parts with curiosity and compassion, and integrate an IFS-informed lens into your client work. This course is open to individuals, and can also be booked privately for professional teams or practices upon request.

Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is designed for therapists, coaches, and helping professionals who spend much of their energy supporting others. Whether you’re new to Internal Family Systems (IFS) or already practicing, this retreat offers a safe, experiential space to focus on your own inner healing and renewal.
Do I need to have IFS experience to attend?
No prior IFS training is required. You’ll be guided through the core concepts of Internal Family Systems—parts, Self, and system awareness—so you can comfortably engage in all activities, regardless of experience.
What is IFS Sculpting?
IFS Sculpting is an experiential process that helps you externalize and witness your internal system. Through guided embodiment and spatial exercises, you’ll gain new clarity and compassion for your parts—an approach that supports deep emotional integration and self-understanding.
What’s included in the $2,700 cost?
Your investment includes all facilitation, retreat programming, guided IFS sculpting sessions, meditations, and group activities. Traveling to and from Ghost Ranch is not included.
Getting to Ghost Ranch:
If you are coming to Ghost Ranch from out of state, you can fly in to either the Albuquerque Airport or the Santa Fe Airport. Albuquerque airport will likely be more economical. We recommend that you rent a car in either Albuquerque or Santa Fe, as that will be the easiest way for you to get to Ghost Ranch. Both the Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports have rental car access. Ghost Ranch is an hour and a half by car from Santa Fe, NM and two hours and a half from the Albuquerque, NM Sunport Airport.
Ghost Ranch is located on Highway 84. The address is: 280 Private Drive 1708, Abiquiu, NM, 87510-2001. This address or “Ghost Ranch, NM” can be put into Google Maps.
Can I receive Continuing Education (CE) credits?
This retreat is designed for personal healing and is not offered for CE credit. However, the work often enriches your professional practice by deepening your capacity for Self-energy and compassion in your client work.
Is this a therapy retreat?
While the retreat uses therapeutic tools and is facilitated by IFS-trained professionals, it is not therapy. You’ll have full choice and agency throughout the process, and emotional support is available at all times.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes! You can choose a monthly payment plans at check out.
Can I book extra nights at Ghost Ranch?
If you are wanting to come to Ghost Ranch before or after the retreat that’s great, it’s a wonderful place to explore! Beyond the two nights of the retreat you will need to contact the Ghost Ranch front desk at 505.685.4333 to make additional arrangements and meals outside of the retreat.
*Please check with us around the name of the room we have booked you in BEFORE calling the Ghost Ranch Front Desk to book extra nights. Ghost Ranch guarantees the room type (private room or suite) but not a specific room, so while you will receive the same level of accommodation, the exact room may vary.
Can I bring a non-workshop participant to Ghost Ranch, (friend, partner, family)?
If you want to bring a partner, friend, spouse etc. many of the rooms can accommodate that and there is no extra charge. However, there is an extra charge for meals at a flat rate of $165.00 that we will add to your cost of $1650 if a person accompanies you wants additional meals onsite. Please let us know if you will be doing this as we need to let Ghost Ranch know how many will be attending meals and add this additional cost.
Cancelation policy
Cancellations can be made up to 60 days in advance and will be refunded, minus $400 deposit. Any cancellations less than 60 days before start of the program will forfeit full amount.

Is this considered official IFS training?
No. Only the IFS Institute can provide official Level 1 training. This course provides a practical, experiential introduction to the model, designed for professional development.
We want to book this for our organization, can the training be customized for our team?
Yes. While the course has a core structure, we can adapt examples, focus areas, or pacing to meet the needs of your staff.
Do participants receive a certificate of completion?
Yes. All attendees will receive a certificate of completion for professional development hours.
Can I earn CEs for the course if I'm not a NM clinician?
Yes! Luna Counseling LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7756. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Luna Counseling LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Can this be delivered in person?
The training is typically offered live via Zoom, but in-person sessions may be arranged upon request.
Cancelation policy
Cancel up to 2 weeks before the course starts and you will get a full refund (subtracted $100 Admin fee). Anything less than 2 weeks there are no refunds.
